Master Key Quest

Journey to the Master Keys

Week 13…Ahhhh, my favorite

Lucky 13
All my friends and family know that 13 has always been my favorite number. In fact, my Dad calls me on every Friday the 13th; almost as excited as I am and says, “Good morning Bobbie! Today is your lucky day!” My sisters are only minutes behind him on the telephone. It is a funny little thing, but it brings me such joy! I believe it brings them joy too!!

Week 13 and our lesson is centered around gratitude!!

How appropriate for a favorite topic on my favorite week, since gratitude is also one of my absolute favorite emotions we are granted, second only to love! Last week, I shared how I have been able to overcome several trying times and get back on track in my master keys journey.  This was accomplished by regaining focus on my journey verses my trials with the reading and exercises that we have been building upon for the past three Waves of grattitudemonths. This week’s exercise where we write three things each day for which we are grateful has opened a flood gate of positive emotions. My sitting and thinking time is peaceful and more enjoyable this week.  Couple these exercises with the 30-50 index cards of achievements for 2 weeks; plus all the blueprint builder work of the course and I am no longer riding out the storm. I am riding the wave into my future!

So here is a question that should spark some serious thought and gratitude….
What if Grattitude

Gives you a different perspective, eh? I thought maybe 🙂

On one of my gratitude cards I wrote, “I am grateful for my Master Keys Quest”. On one of my achievement cards I wrote, “I have accomplished my Master Keys Journey through Week 13”. Change is not easy for most people. Some people do not mind change as much as others, as long as they are not the one of whom change is required. 🙂

I believe that gratitude makes the work of change much easier and much more rewarding along the way.

Week 12…One Step at a Time

Have you ever had a time in your life when you were making fabulous progress in the direction of your hearts desire when all of the sudden you got slammed with a series of trials? I am not talking about a minor, run-of-the-mill, daily inconvenience. I mean the kind that cripples your progress and sling-shots you backwards. You know the type, yes?

This has been one of those times in my life. The more progress I made, the more intense my trials became. (yes trials with an s) In retrospect, I observed that my focus shifted from my master keys journey to my trials, which were escalating over the past two weeks…..hmmm, perhaps a correlation?

You see, it began with a missed reading here and there. Then a missed sit here and there, while my focus shifted to solving my crisis situation. The cake topper was being cut off from the world electronically by technical difficulties. That means no master keys webinars, no webinar replays, no camaraderie in the alliance. Just me, my crisis situation and my thoughts about my crisis situation. Yikes!

Although I knew this shift in focus was happening, I justified my behavior by telling myself that I would get back on track as soon as my situation was handled. One day lead to two days, to three; when suddenly I realized I had become completely engrossed in my trials. My thoughts were so conflicted. I had made a commitment. Yet I was so out of harmony with the group. I even had a moment of weakness when I finally got the opportunity to pop into the alliance area. I shared my negative attitude about my technical difficulties and mentioned that I had doubts about sticking with the course…..oh so not right!!!

As I was soaking up all I could in my momentary alliance visit, something amazing happened. I realized I could think myself right back on track and get into harmony!!! So I dug into the readings. It was just like getting back on a bicycle. 🙂

Picking up Haanel’s Week 12 lesson, these two points hit me straight away:
3. We know that thought is building for us the thing we think of and actually
bringing it nearer, yet we find it difficult to banish fear, anxiety or discouragement,
all of which are powerful thought forces, and which continually send the things we
desire further away, so that it is often one step forward and two steps backward.
4. The only way to keep from going backward is to keep going forward. Eternal
vigilance is the price of success. There are three steps, and each one is absolutely
essential. You must first have the knowledge of your power; second, the courage to
dare; third, the faith to do.

The transformation began immediately beginning with my attitude, seeping into my thoughts. Sparing you the details, my crisis situations began to work themselves out. Let me assure you that this did not go unnoticed! Resuming my readings of Og’s Scroll marked III as modified for our journey, “I persist and I succeed.”; washes over me. Og’s statement, “I was not delivered unto this world in defeat, nor does failure course in my veins.” reaches into my soul.

My focus was realigned with amazing speed. As I open my book Sunday morning, my daily devotional greeted me with the follow scripture:
I press on to lay hold of and make my own, that for which Jesus Christ has laid hold of me and made me His own. Philippians 3:12

Although my technical difficulties were not solved in time for Sunday’s Week 13 webinar, I anticipated the treasures I would find in the webinar replay. One step at a time, I persist and I succeed!

Week 11 Winter…did you decide to play in the snow?

Winter - road less traveled

If you recall, I began the journey within during the fall with a full blown explosion of color gracing the view out my living room window.  When I decided to use the analogy of the seasons for my journey, I knew winter would come soon. It’s now week 11 and we are well into the season.

Winter in the north east can be described in so many ways, usually dependent upon whom you ask and how far we are into the season.

At first flake there is the mixed emotion of excitement with some other emotion brought on by experiences of past winters. There is the joy of the season’s first snowman.  The dreaded thoughts of shoveling snow.snowman                Snow - no app

The thrill of hitting the slopes. That moment we realize we forgot the need to scrape off and warm up the car.

The warm thoughts of a white Christmas.  The slippery roads to grandma’s house.

Friends gathered together for an ice skating party.  The long, long stretch of cold, barren, emptiness of all that is living and green.

Quite an array of past experiences!  AND our subconscious mind remembers every one of them!  It is during this season when nature experiences the wonderful benefits of hibernation. Winter in the north east is one of the world’s best examples of “off with the old and on with the new”! This discrete process of hibernation, regeneration and most exciting of all; new growth is the perfect analogy for this leg of my Master Keys journey!

Hannel gives us a glimpse of one of the destinations on our journey of thought as follows:
21. The operation of this thought process is seen in those fortunate natures that possess everything that others must acquire by toil, who never have a struggle with conscience because they always act correctly, and can never conduct themselves otherwise than with tact, learn everything easily, complete everything they begin
with a happy knack, live in eternal harmony with themselves, without ever reflecting much what they do, or ever experiencing difficulty or toil.

He goes on to say:
34. We all know many who have achieved the seemingly impossible, who have realized life-long dreams, who have changed everything including themselves. We have sometimes marveled at the demonstration of an apparently irresistible power, which seemed to be ever available just when it was most needed, but it is all clear
now. All that is required is an understanding of certain definite fundamental principles and their proper application.

Did you catch that last part? The part where he clearly states “and their proper application”. So here it is, our time of winter. Our time of proper application. Our time of thought (like hibernation), daily practical application of exercises building a new blueprint (like regeneration); and internalizing, visualizing and owning our future (like new growth). We can chose to sit on the sidelines of winter and be miserable in the cold with our old blueprint OR we can decide to play in the snow.
It makes no difference whether you chose to ski or skate….but chose to play today and everyday.

The best part is we are not alone. The key ingredient of a Master Mind Alliance, provides the comfort and strength of like minded friends on our journey. Life is truly wonderful.

During the winter of our journey, with PERSISTENCE there comes the reward.Hannel assures us that it will be even better than a warm cup of hot chocolate, made with love, on a cold winter day!

Week 10 Oopps! Note to self…

Note to self….hit the publish button!
Hello my friends! I have missed you! As you have probably noticed I am new at blogging,so occasionally I encounter a technical glitch.
Ok, so forgetting to hit the publish button is technically human error not a technical glitch.

Originally the title to this weeks blog would have been: Abundance is everywhere! So with my human error fully disclosed, here we go…

Week 10 Abundance is everywhere!

I have been consciously acting as an observer for 10 weeks now…has it really been that long?!! I have always been an observer of others; gathering ideas, information, lessons, methods of doing things, ect. After all, that is how we learn as we grow. And yes I have even done the occasional solitary sit in the shopping mall, pipping hot latte in hand, to people watch. I consider that being an observer and you see the darnedest things! 🙂

The Master Key exercises have elevated my level of observation in wonderfully enlightening ways. Now I observe myself making observations, observing the thought that is created and choosing a positive response. I observe myself choosing actions that benefit ALL parties in situations where I may not have been aware of who “all parties” might have encompassed.

One particular observation that monopolizes my thoughts this week is from the first key point in Lesson 10:

1. Abundance is a natural law of the Universe. The evidence of this law is
conclusive; we see it on every hand. Everywhere Nature is lavish, wasteful,
extravagant. Nowhere is economy observed in any created thing. Profusion is
manifested in everything. The millions and millions of trees and flowers and
plants and animals and the vast scheme of reproduction where the process of
creating and recreating is forever going on, all indicates the lavishness with
which Nature has made provision for man. That there is an abundance for
everyone is evident, but that many fail to participate in this abundance is also
evident; they have not yet come into a realization of the Universality of all
substance, and that mind is the active principle whereby we are related to the
things we desire.

So this week in my journey I ask myself, how can I be assured that I am not among the many who fail to participate in this abundance? The answer is simple and it is provided with every step of my journey! It is the Natural Law of Growth that provides this abundance we observe in nature. Remembering that our Creator provides this abundance so freely in nature gives me comfort during my journey to observe, take hold of and enjoy all that He has provided for me! And for you should you decide not to fail to participate in this abundance!
Already I am seeing the Law of Growth sprouting out into all areas of my life. My relationships are more meaningful. My connections and progress in business is easier and more enjoyable. I find myself acting quickly without procrastination. I observe kindness where I might not have in the past. In essence, I am beginning to tap into this world of abundance. I am beginning to get a vision for where this journey is taking me as I think, grow and trust. I invite you will join me on this next leg of my journey!
